THE HEALING GARDEN CENTRE

is a really lovely place to be in its country settings.

We moved here in 2007 it was already being run as a perennial nursery growing quite unusual perennials. Its original old shop has now been converted to a lovely shop and therapy centre. It has tremendous healing energies and you receive healing from just being here it is a very calming place. People are attracted here and often don't know why and they also don't want to leave. That was also the feeling we had.

Our main aim was to bring the three loves of our life together working as one:

1. animals
2. flowers/herbs
3. spirituality & healing

This is a very grounded place & most people need grounding or centering or just bringing down to basics & animals & plants have their own unique way of doing this. We have our own animals wandering the grounds & also chickens/ducks/rabbits for sale. Animals also provide unconditional love without questioning. At the centre we are finding more and more people are wanting to keep chickens & ducks, it is the fastest growing hobby coupled with growing their own vegetables & herbs, people are being drawn back to the basics, more as our grandparents probably lived.  They have been in my life for more years that I would like to mention. My granddad kept them and also my good old dad who I still call the bird man. I've probably got such a strong interest as it is this granddad who is now one of my guides so he is probably still influencing me from the spirit world. They have both taught me long lasting traditions on keeping poultry especially healthy and happy which I am now passing on to so many people who are coming across my pathway. Through the healing garden centre my aim is to continue teaching animal healing. Animals are so receptive to healing far more than people as they do not question it and it brings very great rewards. When I look at an ill/stressed animal I always look at the owners and also where the animal lives. What often starts out as an emotional issue then recreates itself into the body in some form or another as an illness. Through animal healing I will continue to help people to heal their beloved pets and also themselves. It is an interesting fact that our pet's characteristics often reflect what is going on in our own lives.

In the nursery we have a great stock of unusual perennials and an ever growing array of unusual herbs which can be used culinary as well as medicinal. All of our plants & animals receive Reiki healing. More & more people want their herb gardens and a more natural way of living. There is nothing more rewarding than picking herbs from your garden to use in the kitchen. Most have lost this long ago tradition of natural healing with herbs and we want to try and help rekindle this into our homes. We have a well known medical herbalist who is going to do various workshops/talks to help teach people how to make the most of their herbs for various illnesses & uses around the home etc., We have another lady who is going to teach how to make soaps, oils & other cultures for use in the home. Herbs are a fantastic subject and the knowledge to be gained from them is never ending.

As to the spiritual side of life we all have this around us all the time, it is just that some of us maybe do not listen or are too busy to notice. Often it is as simple as following that gut instinct.

We also want to help people to deal with emotions that are holding them back in this lifetime. Many of us just simply get stuck in a rut and just cannot see our ways forward.

With 2012 looming ahead change is definitely on the way it may be a struggle for us all to get there but this is why this centre has been put here to help you.
